Her face is pretty and made unusual by her green eyes, a fact which has made her vain. She has no markings on her face or legs to mar her perfect buckskin coloration. She strives to keep her appearance pristine, knowing that it's her looks that earn her attention and little else. In build, she's a dainty creature, petite and pretty. Though she has a decently muscled build, she has no real physical strength to speak of. As of now, she is pregnant. Thus, her barrel is swollen and heavy with child. Paloma hates that this alters her appearance and tries not to think about it very much, but it's hard when the foal won't stop kicking... Character Personality: Excessively narcissistic and vain, Paloma is in love only with herself. She's been an incorrigible flirt since she was a young filly, a fault which has gotten her into a great deal of trouble...and resulted in her current pregnancy. Though young, Paloma has already decided that she doesn't like foals, given the difficulties she's had with this pregnancy. It's safe to say that she's irrisponsible; her plan for her current child is to dump it shortly after it's born, regardless of whether or not it can or will survive without her. Paloma considers this to be none of her concern. She simply wants to get back to living a "normal" life: flirting with the boys and making mischief. It's what she does best, and what she's known for. Paloma absolutely adores stallions, regardless of whether or not they've got decent personalities or not; she's never been a very good judge of character. She absolutely detests mares, but only if they're after a stallion she's been eying. Otherwise, she has very little to do with them at all. A jealous creature, she holds grudges against any mare she finds either too "friendly" for her liking or too pretty. Paloma can't stand the thought of another mare being more gorgeous than she is. Her only female friends when she was growing up were those she deemed too unattractive to draw attention away from her. In short, she's pretty, petite, flirtatious, devious, spiteful, deceitful and seductive. Some have called her "sex on legs." Most simply name her "trouble." Character Relations: [Pregnant with a foal by Malkior] Character Lover(s): Malkior Character History: Paloma was born in a time of tears and strife. For a time, she was the apple of her father's eye - the only light in an era of darkness. Her mother seemed to resent her for reasons that the little filly could never quite comprehend. Shortly before her second birthday, however, her mother woke her in the darkest part of the night and whispered that they were leaving their homeland and running away to a different place far, far away. Paloma's mother promised that a brave and strong stallion was taking them to a new home where they would be much happier. Paloma didn't understand; she was happy here. Why should she have to move if this was the case? But when she asked her mother, Reina grew angry and cuffed her sharply with a hoof. Paloma was made to run away with her mother, leaving behind the friends and family she knew and loved. The only home she'd ever had quickly vanished into her past as her mother and the mysterious dark stallion they followed led her deeper and deeper into uncharted terrain. Paloma wasn't too young to understand that her mother was in love with the black stallion who'd stolen them away. And she wasn't too young to understand why, either. He was a handsome, well-muscled creature by the name of Malkior who any mare would be glad to bear foals by. It wasn't long before Paloma and her mother settled with Malkior in a woodland he claimed for his own. Almost immediately Paloma noticed the black stallion eying her as she'd seen him eye her mother. No stranger to flirting, which she'd done with her little colt friends back home, Paloma accepted and encouraged his advances -- but only when her mother wasn't watching. She soon found herself pregnant by her mother's beau, and her mother was enraged when she discovered the secret. Reina disowned Paloma on the spot, and being the jealous mare she was, drove her own daughter off into the wilderness alone. Malkior did nothing to stop her; even if Paloma and her foal were to die, he still had Reina. Alone and heartbroken, Paloma quickly realized that she was the one who had been fooled all along. She couldn't return to her homeland and be disgraced by her current state, and there was no way she could come crawling back to Reina and Malkior. So she ventured into the wilderness, determined to find other equines and start over anew in a place where she could let her past die and be forgotten for good.
